To the Silver Spring art community - and friends of artists: You may remember years ago we worked with the community to develop the concept to reuse the site where the 3rd District Police Precinct Station on Sligo Avenue as an affordable artist live/workspace. Now the project is complete. Artists are starting to move in.

  • Applications are being accepted.

Below is more information from ArtSpace, the good folks that together with the County and with intensive community involvement developed this wonderful project which will be a magnificent addition to Silver Spring.
