Jessica is among 100 U.S. artists participating in the Smithsonian's online Craft Optimism show highlighting craftwork that addresses environmental concerns through both process and content. The event will be held virtually with sales through Bidsquare from April 24-May 1. Jessica's birds and nests incorporate reused human-made objects and foraged natural materials, encouraging people to examine more closely the world around us and what we choose to keep or discard. See CraftOptimism.si.edu for more information about the show and materialworld.studio for more about my artwork.
