See My Color: A Social Justice Call for Art

Big news. We have a new call for art! The best part is all entry fees will fund an Art scholarship for a woman-identifying Black, Indigenous and, People of color (BIPOC). WCADC will match up to $1000 toward the scholarship!

Call for Art - See My Color The Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, DC invites members of the National Women’s Caucus for Art to submit artwork for a juried online exhibition entitled "See My Color," WCADC’s Social Justice Art Exhibition. "See My Color" will explore artists' relationships with racial injustice, police brutality, and criminal justice reform through visual art. The show aims to confront the current social injustices surrounding the deaths of people of color in the United States by law enforcement, as well as systemic racism as a whole. “I don’t see color” is no longer an acceptable response. The jurur for this show is Zsadayka Nzinga Terrell https://www.terrellartsdc.com/zsudayka-nzinga-terrell
